In the beginning, God…

…was too big to comprehend.

In the beginning, God could not be embraced.

In the beginning, God could not even be seen by angels.

In the beginning, God’s presence was a terrifying, roiling furnace of creation born out of chaos.

From the beginning, Yahweh was wrapped in the Cloud of Unknowing, and He alone, in the person of Yeshua Messiah, Angel of the Lord’s Face, Son and Heir, could enter and emerge from God’s presence to speak to the legions of angel armies. 

In the beginning, Yahweh created man and woman with a loving relationship in mind.

Mankind’s first father and mother had not loved God in return. They had turned away. After that, they had feared him… The kind of fear that made them run and stumble away from him instead of running toward him for mercy. 

From that time on, what mankind could not touch, they proclaimed did not exist. What they could not comprehend, they mocked.

Like color and light to a blind man, they could not imagine God’s power and righteousness and love for them.

So, the word became flesh…and dwelt among us…stepping down from eternity into time… In flesh, the form of a babe, to grow into a man. A form that could be recognized… seen, touched, comprehended and not feared. 

His heraldic announcement from the angels… Do not be afraid, I bring you good tidings.

He came with a message from the Father that we need not be afraid of him anymore. Come to me is his message. Call on my name and be saved. Ask mercy, ask forgiveness and it would be granted. My desire is to restore the loving relationship we once had… is God’s message. 

Bethlehem, House of bread… The living bread comes down from heaven and dwells among us, to feed us and give us life. 

In Migdal Eder, the pasture raising place of the lambs that are korban set aside for God. In Bethlehem, the home of David, the shepherd King, our own shepherd King was born. 

Bethlehem, where the first born lambs, without blemish, perfect, are raised for temple sacrifice, their blood an atonement for our sins. 

In a Bethlehem cave, where expectant ewes are gathered to give birth to these sacrificial lambs, was the lamb of God born.

Laid in a manger, a feeding trough, was laid the Bread from Heaven, born in Bethlehem, the house of bread. 

The very stars proclaimed his coming. Wise men, who knew how to read these signs, came looking for him to worship him and give gifts befitting a King. 

Shepherds, the keepers of the flocks of lambs that are set aside for sacrifice were the first to hear the announcement of his birth. They found the Lamb of God, in a lambing cave…what more fitting place for the Lamb of God to be born. 

Yeshua Jesus, The word of God, born into flesh into a form that…we could comprehend, we could see, and touch with a message of hope and salvation. 

Yeshua, which means salvation, was given to us.

On Sunday, December 7, ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, an Emmy award winning reality show, will spotlight a unique seamless siding product in the makeover of a farm house in Albert Lea, Minnesota.

The reality show team demolished Dirk and Susan DeVries’ old house and rebuilt it from ground up. Dirk had lost his arm in a farming accident and Susan was recovering from a heart condition.

Their daughter Hanna, 12, described her old house as “coming apart at the seams” before the complete makeover. Upon entering the old house, there was an immediate smell of mildew. Leaky ceilings, rotting wood siding and missing tiles are conditions that the DeVries and their 3 children don’t miss.

A local ABC Seamless Siding dealer volunteered to work around the clock one weekend to install their unique seamless steel siding, soffit and fascia. The seamless siding was custom made at the new home using a machine that rolls out and forms the siding from a steel coil with a durable PVC coating.

Because the crew was able to form the exact length of siding that was needed, the finished house has no ugly seams or splice. This allows a level of craftsmanship and protection from the elements that is not available with other materials.

According to Don Drake, an ABC Seamless dealer in Charleston, IL, the dark “Cinnamon” color that was used on the house is rarely found in vinyl siding, but is available in the seamless steel siding because it is resistant to fading due to sunlight.

The “DeVries Family” episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition will air on Sunday, December 7^th from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.

After having windows in his all-glass room become cloudy due to seal failure, Max Sims of Charleston decided to have a Betterliving Patio Room installed instead.

Drake Siding and Sunrooms removed the old room and built a beautiful brown aluminum framed room in its place.  The new room adds to the charm and nolstalgia of Sim’s log cabin in the woods.

It’s official…

ABC TV stations will feature ABC Seamless Siding on  Sunday, December 7, 2008, at 7:00 pm on its show Extreme Makeover Home Edition.

An ABC Seamless franchise, Home Solutions Midwest, participated by installing ABC Seamless siding, soffit and fascia on the beautiful project home.

40 volunteers worked one weekend from 9:00 pm Friday to 1:00 am Sunday to finish everything for the show. 

Paul Field, one of the volunteers, said, “This was a very interesting experience for everyone, especially at 3 o’clock in the morning and you wonder how you got yourself in this project.”
